Emergency Conversion Kits for 12 Volt Lamps up to 100 Watts

Wizard is a range of emergency lighting kits to operate 12 volt Tungsten Halogen lamps in the event of a power failure.

Wizard is available in three modes; Non-Maintained (NM) where the lamp is only illuminated when power fails, Maintained (M) which is supplied with an integral transformer and which operate the lamp in mains healthy and in the event of a power failure and finally Remote Maintained (RM) where a separate transformer is used. This version is ideal for dimming installations or where matching mains operation characteristics are critical.

All models use five year sealed lead acid batteries and the units incorporate a BSI approved charger circuit to maximise battery life and deep discharge battery protection which is essential for lead acid batteries.

The enclosure is manufactured from sheet steel and is finished in white epoxy stove enamel.
