Over 1.4 kilograms of UV stabilised, flame retardant polycarbonate is used in each Diadem body and its sheer toughness has been illustrated by its successful use in police and magistrates cells, army barracks, schools and public areas.

Diadem is sealed to IP65 as standard and has a choice of a clear 'Technoradial' lens for enhanced photometric performance, an opal diffuser and either a black or white base. It is available with 28 Watt and 38 Watt 2D lamps and also a 40 Watt T5 circular lamp.

Mains versions have a hinged steel gear tray with front mounted mains isolation plug, emergency units have removable gear tray and battery isolate socket.

Diadem's flexibility is extended by a range of surface and semi-recessing trims in either functional white epoxy stove enamel or decorative brass or chrome plated and polished finish. All trims are manufactured spun sheet steel.
