A Range of EN54 Compliant Conventional Fire Panels Incorporating a wide Range of Features

Our Range of conventional fire panels incorporate a wide range of features and are fully compliant with EN45 parts 2 and 4 and BS5839 part 1 for detector removal. The panels are compatible with a range of detectors making them especially suitable for retro-installation.

Available in 2 zone, 4 zone and 8 zone variations, the fire panel continuously monitors all connections between detectors, manual call points and sounders and checks its own back-up batteries and power supply for faults. When a fault is detected, the panel provides both visual and audible indications.

A unique mode indicator used in the panel’s on-board diagnostic system greatly simplifies programming, installation and general usage by indicating short or open circuits, healthy, disabled and time-delayed zones.

Fire Panel semi-recessing bezels are available, please refer to our sales team for details.

One Man Test This allows an engineer to test field detections without the need to return to the panel to reset it. Sounders will operate for about 3 seconds before the panel automatically resets (Zone selectable)
Class Change Input This is a non-latching input that operates from an external timer unit. It can be used to signal a change of lesson, start and end of school/work and break times.
End of Line The end of line capacitor ensures compliance with BS5839 part 1 for detector removal and gives a very low running current.
Fire/Fault Relay This relay is commonly used to give a fault signal to external equipment. The relay can be reconfigured so it operates on a fire signal and will give an output to external equipment.
Fire Output (Monitored) Can be connected to heavy duty relays to operate plant shutdowns, door holders, auto-diallers and fire dampers.
Auxiliary 28 Volt Output Can be used to supply external power to equipment up to a maximum of 250mA.
Zone Reset This gives a 10 second +28 Volt output pulse to reset beam detectors and other equipment.
Disablement Fire zones, alarm circuits, earth monitoring and fire outputs can all be easily disabled by the user.
Fault Indication The panel can indicate an open circuit fault or a short circuit fault on the mode indicator, O for open circuits and S for short circuit *when accessed by the user controls).
Coincidence Detection (Double Knock) This is used to help eliminate false alarms on control sprinkler systems and vital plant shutdowns (Two zones need to be in fire before the fire outputs operate).
Non-Latching Zone This function can be used to interconnect two or more panels. When a non-latching zone is in fire, the fire outputs do not operate, thus making it ideal for use in a shop unit on a landlords system.
Delayed Zones This feature will give time for an event to be investigated before the fire outputs operate.
Time Delay This feature will give delay on the zones (1-9 Minutes).
Alarm Modes You can select three alarm modes; Mode 1 is continuous alarms, mode 2 is pulsed alarms and mode 3 is pulsed for one zone in fire and continuous for two or more zones.
Default The panel can easily be returned to its factory default settings.
